It was a  great Centennial Conference!

The Delta Omicron Foundation had an active role to play in the Delta Omicron Centennial Conference in the metro Cincinnati area July 15-19, 2009.

The Foundation announced a new project at the conference's Foundation Luncheon on Friday, July 17. The Delta Omicron Studio at the MacDowell Colony in Peterborough, New Hampshire, is in need of renovation, and the Foundation has agreed to lead a drive to contribute to the project. At the luncheon, David Macy, the resident director of the MacDowell Colony, brought conference attendees up to date on the current activities of the colony and the plans for the renovation of the Delta Omicron Studio.
The string quartet "Passages," composed by David Sartor, was performed at the conference's Premiere Concert on Friday, July 17. Sartor received the Foundation's triennial Thor Johnson Memorial Commission. At right, Sartor posed with the members of the Atlantis String Quartet, who premiered the work.
